Mine’s mostly how it’s spelled. “FREEK - uh - LET” with a bit more accent on the first syllable than the third. Some of these are making me :eek: ---

So Brynda with a y is pronounced Brinda, not Brenda, but not because of the freaky spelling, but because well, we is weird. However, when non-Tennesseans try to call me Brinda, it sounds like Briiiinda, and grates my poor ears. Therefore, Brenda is the pronunciation I prefer. Or Throatwarbler Mangrove. You choose. ---
