I loved it. You know the trope “maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way”? The series was about the characters’ and their relationships’ evolution. There’s how many main characters? Willow, Elora, Kit, Jade, Graydon, and Boorman. That’s six, and the series covered all of them well. Their personalities, motivations, etc. Besides being well written, it was well directed, and the actors carried their parts well. The costumes and scoring were interesting and fun. I’m trying to think of anything that could’ve been done better, but nothing is coming to mind. Maybe the pacing was too fast sometimes? I could see someone not appreciating the series because they were expecting something different, or the characters weren’t engaging to them. ---
