Just bought a new computer with Win 7. I use firefox 4.01 on my old computer, but on the new one, it looks different and won’t keep the tabs when I start a new session. How do I tell it to not lose the tabs?

I use an add on called Tab Mix Plus.

There is a setting in FF but I couldn’t seem to get it to work.

When I updated FF, I had to go into the options (in W7, click the dropdown arrow in the orange title box at the top left corner), general options, and change the When Firefox Starts to Show windows and tabs from last time.

It seems like there was something else I did, but I don’t remember what. FF used to ask me if I wanted to save the tabs when I closed and now it just automatically saves them. I can’t remember where I changed that, though.

Is that what you’re looking for?

Damnit, missed the edit window.

Tools\>Options\>General
Startup:
Set “When Firefox starts” to “Show my windows and tabs from last time”

Thanks Marconi… I think that is the solution. Going to try now.

That is the solution for sure… just tried it and it works. So simple.
