# win2000 directory not accessible?

while trying to remove some garbage from my hard drive i’ve found a couple directories i cannot get rid of. whne i highlight them it gives me the message

“drive:/directory is not acessible. the folder was moved or removed”

its obviously there because i can see it… i just want to be rid of it.

googling brings up many hits but none that are helpful.

any dopers got a clue on this one?

I’ve had that happen before. They went away when I rebooted.

The OP wasn’t clear; exactly which folders are you attempting to remove?

its a folder in an old installation of xcom:apocalypse on my secondary hard drive, not a system folder or anything like that… just a regular folder
