# Win2K03 and UPnP

My home network is currently running Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition and acts as a router and firewall using Routing and Remote Services. I want to enable UPnP but apparently only XP supports UPnP natively. What are my options to get UPnP working?

Why do you want UPnP?

This protocol is very insecure and is the target of active exploit development. Cite: search [http://www.securityfocus.com](http://www.securityfocus.com) for UPnP.
