i tried to record something on my windows sound recorder for the first time the other night and it would only record for a minute. it seemed (i am at work now, so i’m relying on memory) that it was predetermined on the meter of the sr window. can i adjust this or does sound recorder record for a minute? the computer was given to me used, so i don’t know if someone had already recorded something or what, if that makes any difference. ---

Yep, it’s just a minute. This makes no sense, but there you go. Oddly enough, you can open files that are longer than a minute and edit (and I use the term loosely) them. ---
