Windows Explorer 7.0 - Is It Time to "Upgrade"?

[QUOTE=Myglaren]
I use Firefox on several machines, both Linux and Windows. Never had it lose anything.

I’ve never had the clap either, but that doen’t mean it isn’t a problem.

Can I recover my bookmarks in Firefox?

Where did my Firefox bookmarks go?

Why does firefox keeps deleting my bookmarks.

Where’s my bookmarks? ::angry:: (Firefox rant)

Firefox question-It ate my bookmarks!

And that is just the Teeming Millions; many, many more on Google.

What bugs are there in IE7?

-FrL-

There’s a 14.7 meg upgrade to IE7 sitting in my computer now that offers “enhanced security, a cleaner look, and features to make everyday tasks such as printing and searching the web easier”. Haven’t installed it yet, hoping to hear something from others first. Anyone know anything?

IME there really are no significant problems with IE7. The biggest issue I saw was the infamous sbcyahoo dsl psaspi.dll debacle. Sbc’s self setup disks installed a critical file to windows that was very incompatible w/IE7, like failure to boot incompatible. I had an sbc tech telling a customer it was because I was intalling the vista version of IE7, and that the only way to fix it was a full reload of windows.

Many of the other problems were secondary to installing IE7 on a browser with preexisting spyware problems. Spyware writers have been less than helpful so far on patching those IE7 incompatible plugins.
