I’m trying to make a small video for my wife when I’m away on business. I’m looking for a way to tell windows media player to open up a certain file, and then go to full screen mode on start-up. I know back in the “old” days, you used to be able to use different command line prompts to start a program, then perform a series of actions. For example;

c:\windows\mediaplayer.exe /c:\my music\song.mp3 /f (for full screen)

Does anyone know if this is possible now? I can’t find any documentation, and have tried various combinations from the prompt, with no luck. Thanks.

Oh, and I’m using WMP 7.01

Have you tried the switches listed in KB article [241422](http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;241422)? At least some of them work with WMP 9, so they should work with 7.
