I have a CD with Windows98 but I no longer have the registration key. I has the “GENUINE” hologram in the middle, I own it. How can I find out what the registration key is? Thanks!!!

I just had a friend ask me the same question, and I didn’t know the answer. Can I have some help, please?

You have to contact Microsoft, don’t you? This kind of thing happens a lot.

If the copy of Windows is currently loaded onto your computer, you can download and run [Belarc Advisor](http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) which among other things will return the installation keys for loaded software.
