I have the need to make a CD from a music file (Playlist)
that is in Windows Media Player 7.01. I go to File \> Copy
to CD… which gives me the Playlist box. I click on the
desired Playlist then OK. This gives me one of the all-to-
common Red X boxes labeled: Adaptec Easy CD Creator Plug-
In and contains the message ‘No CD recording devices
detected.’
I assume there is a secret way of letting Media Player
know about my CD recorder (which works fine with Nero) but
it is so cleverly hidden in MediaPlayer Help that I have
been unable to find it.

Anyone willing to share the arcane knowledge I seek?
