# winged things

I was just looking at [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=250466) thread, which made me think. If it’s a violation of the laws of physics for a Bee to be able to fly, then what about Chickens?  
SO I googled “why can’t chickens fly” and the number one hit was [This article](http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mchicken.html)  
Right back to a straight odpe article…hmmm.  
I’m new here but I imagine this is a common occurence.  
So how many times has it happened to you?
