# WinXP Pro registry question - mouse functions

Tried on the Winguides board but no responses yet.
Whether I use the control panel or the registry editor, mouse settings for things like “swap buttons” and “snap to” don’t do anything. Unfortunately, I’m defaulted with “snap to” enabled, and **I can’t bloody stand it!**.
I’m using a Kensington wheel-mouse. Have read that perhaps some (all?) non-MS mice don’t respond to certain registry settings.
Anyone know anything that can solve my problem (besides purchasing a new mouse - I’m at work and I won’t get a new one).
