Wisdom teeth: Cap 'em or Pull 'em?

Pull 'em. Mine came in one at a time, so that’s how I got them pulled. The fourth one was the only one that didn’t give me any pain, but I had it pulled because I couldn’t brush it very well.

And unless you’re either a recovering drug abuser or opposed to any drugs, take the nitrous oxide if it’s offered. You’ll be much less tense. The same goes for the prescription pain pills. You may be fine with Tylenol, but you don’t want to be home late at night and in pain and nothing to help you.

I’m pushing 40 and still have all four of my wisdom teeth. With that in mind…

… if YOURS are giving you serious trouble - pain, rampant decay, whatever - PULL 'EM!

I had a minor cavity in one of mine in the last 20 years - caught very early stage, very minor, fixed quickly. Other than that, they’re straight, useful, and solid.

So if it’s just an teeny cavity in one - keep it. But if that’s the case, why would you suggest capping them? At a certain point you’re better off getting rid of a problem tooth.

I HATE YOU HATE YOU HATE YOU ALL!!!

goes off to the dentist

You’ll thank us when you save all that Ca$h.

 <---- Look, you don’t even notice the missing wisdom teeth in that smilie, do you?
