I will spend tomorrow and Thursday taking USMLE step 3 aka my boards. I feel fairly well prepared although not as prepared as I had intended to be. Definitely better prepared than I was for step 1. Which I passed. So I should be OK for this one. And then I’m done with high stakes standardized testing for another 2.5 years. When I graduate from residency and have to take my Emergency Medicine boards. Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll abolish the oral boards before I have to take them.
