With friends like these... (Liberal corporations, their support of LGBT, and "cancel culture")

But it didn’t even work. After capitulating and pissing off the LGBTQ+ community, the MAGAts still “cancelled” them in huge numbers. They should have just stuck by their guns and maybe they could have at least increased sales a little from the left wing. This way they lose both ways.

Exactly! I think you articulated this better than I. What Bud did was a lose-lose strategy. At best, put everyone off.

The logical conclusion to draw from this is that gay people and their allies should start making death threats against employees at stores that DON’T prominently display Pride merchandise, because it is clearly an effective technique for changing behavior.

More like they’re hyper-sensitized by other current events, CRT, drag queen book readings, etc. and emboldened by the success of the Bud Light boycot. I’m sure some people complained in past years, just not in the quantities and level of vitriol as this time around.

There are certainly some companies and corporations which are decidedly and consistently liberal, including support of the LGBTQ+ community. Two that come to mind are Salesforce and Pennzys Spices.

You’ve GOT to be fucking kidding me. There’s got to be more to it than that, right? There can’t possibly be that many adults in 2023 who still get their knickers in a twist over that, can there?

How do you think someone like MTG can get elected?

Remember that corporations like Target, Disney, Anheuser-Busch and all the others that celebrate Pride month didn’t start doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. They did it because they could make money off of it.

Yes, but think of why they are able to make money from it. It’s because there has been so much progress in advancing the acceptance of people within the LGBTQ+ community. Not all that long ago these businesses would even attempt a product line like this.

Retailers aren’t heroes, they’re out to make a dollar because that’s why they exist. They’re not the ones fighting for equal rights, rather they are a sign that the effort has been successful.

Racism and ignorance - it doesn’t take literally being scared of this dude:

Just stock up on silver arrows and potions of Protection from Law and you’ll be fine.

More seriously, I am still flabbergasted by this. Doesn’t Target carry plenty of devil-related mechandise? The answer, in fact, is yes:

Devil costumes, devil shirts, hot sauce with devil related brands, games like Diablo or Doom… it’s not the 80s anymore, demons and devils are back in the Monster Manual! But Target is going to stop selling clothes because their designer made unrelated devil themed clothes? Even though Target sells their own devil themed clothes anyways? Something doesn’t make any sense.

Do these people know that you can “Shop Target for Devil you will love at great low prices”, with your choice of “Same Day Delivery, Drive Up or Order Pickup plus free shipping on orders $35+”??? Surely the Prince of Darkness costs more than $35, which means that Target will ship him to you for free, same day!!!

I just remembered I have a really cool Devil mask I bought years ago at Target around Halloween. It wasn’t for a costume, I just thought it looked cool.

Yes, but the components for the summoning circle are inexpensive, though it should be noted that the quality of a cheap summoning circle should be cause for concern when calling forth anything higher than an imp.

Make sure the text is legible, too.
