Riiiiiiiiight.
It’s more Wizard of Oz. “Pay no attention to those White House staffers behind the benghazi green curtain.”
Maybe we’ll know more when it’s over.
As I said, to the extent that I need to, I already did. You lost. It’s already over.
Actually I think this fishing license lets you go fishing in your neighbors bathtub, where while you still won’t find any fish, gives you a chance to snoop in their medicine cabinet to see if there is anything else that might be interesting.
Exactly. The GOP is absolutely desparate to pull a Whitewater on Obama and every single thing they’ve attempted has fallen flat. This is their last-ditch effort and they’re going to go Ken Starring all over executive-branch DC to find their Monica.
In some individuals’ cases, that’s doubtful.
And when we don’t, you’ll still have “questions.” You’ll want another investigation. Because you’re convinced there’s something, something out there to justify your evidence-free hatred and contempt for the President and his administration.
Unreadable documents are not evidence. 7 Democrats crossed the lock-step line to help create this Select Committee. Youse guys keep trying to stop the Select Committee from being created. That boat has left the dock.
There wouldn’t be any questions if Mr Transparency kept his word.
With respect, that’s a load. There is no amount of “transparency” that would satisfy those who irrationally hate and dismiss the President and his administration.
You’re suggesting that 7 Democrats joined ol’ Trey’s ol’ Select Committee against the wishes of their party? And that they did so just because they so endorse the idea that this committee serves a legitimate purpose in advancing the public interest?
HAHAHAHAHA.
The Ben Rhodes email illustrates exactly why that’s not true. On any dispassionate reading of the contents of that email and associated files, it does nothing to advance the Benghazi scandal narrative. Yet it has been repeatedly represented as doing just that, both by Republican politicians and the right-wing media.
So “transparency” is a red herring. If Republicans are going to twist and misrepresent whatever is released to them, then how is “more transparency” supposed to make the questions go away?
But that’s not the point.
The point is to talk about fishing, and talk about all the fish you’ve caught, and imply that you’ve actually already caught a couple, and then take out a full page ad in the paper declaring yourself a fishing champion.
It’s about perception.
Nobody is saying that Republicans have a monopoly on useless ideas. We’re just confirming that 7 Democratic votes doesn’t make something a good idea.
Exactly. Democratic participation in the Select Committee is analogous to having a guard dog or two just outside the henyard.
Heh. You say that in a thread where one of the most active posters is Donald Rump. Does that name remind you of anyone?
No amount of documentation will satisfy these idiots.
You seem to have overlooked the fact that the Democrat party wanted to boycott this Select Committee.
I’m sorry, is that some third party I’m not familiar with?
Or perhaps you could enlighten us all as to what point you’re trying to make by deliberately misspelling the name of the Democratic Party? Do you find that a poster’s credibility is a) enhanced or b) diminished by saying Repugs instead of Republicans?
I could have sworn we’d just had this discussion, too…
