Am I the only one who noticed that last night’s episode was goofy? I laughed several times, and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at that (before now) serious show before. And I loved the Laundry delivery guy.

Unless something really, really bad is happening to someone, it just doesn’t feel like a day at the office.

I liked Pookie-bear, and I really liked queer-friendly Don. “I spent _weeks_ listening to that K.D… uh… K.D… uh…” “K.D. _Lang_, Boss.” “Yeah. K.D. Lang.”

And the missing agoraphobe was Mrs. Macolm Reynolds from 2 episodes of Firefly (only one of which was aired originally). Much, much more likeable in this show.

It was fun to see the Cuban-American Fed and the Irish-American Fed (who’s actually played by an Italian-Australian) singing “That’s Amoré!” to the Italian-American mobsters and the lesbian couple. Such a very cross-cultural ending.

It’s like everyone went to Bad Acting School just for that episode. It made me laugh, but not in a good way.

Ugh, that was my feelings exactly. I really like this show but last nights episode was just a tad too goofy for me. And the singing of “That’s Amore” just ruined it for me.

Finally got around to viewing this episode. The more I thought about it, the more I think it’s the equivalent to Star Trek’s “The Trouble With Tribbles”. Somewhere after the first season, you’ve got to do a silly episode to break the tension, for both the viewers and the cast/crew.

This was also the first full episode that my wife has watched (she usually watches ER). It hooked her, so the change of pace worked…
