Cliff Robertson (Best Actor winner for _Charly_) was Uncle Ben in Sam Raimi’s _Spider-Man_ series – that series and the reboot have quite a few Oscar nominees. ---

Here’s are some obscure ones… \*\*Kris Kristofferson \*\*in “Blade”. Nominated for Best Original Score for the movie “Songwriter” in '84. **Lou Gossett, Jr** in “The Punisher” - Winner of Best Supporting Actor for “An Officer & a Gentleman” **David Paymer** and \*\*Tim Robbins \*\*for mother-effing “Howard the Duck.” Paymer was nominated for “Mr. Saturday Night” and Robbins won for “Mystic River” (and nominated for others.) Oh, and less obscure, but **Michael Clarke Duncan** was in “Daredevil” and was nominated for “The Green Mile”. ---

Damn. I think the better question is quickly becoming, who hasn’t been nominated for an Oscar in the Marvel movies. This even spreads to non-Marvel produced stuff from Sony and others too. THat’s amazing. ---
