Witness haters--are you happy now? :(

Are you insane? Clocks are E V I L !

Movies are the least of your worries, except for that one behind you RIGHT NOW!

So many little tidbits here - WHo would ‘sue’ trinopus over that comment? everytime you make an idiotic statement like that - well - you’re not helping your case at all.

You don’t think the medical knowledge and information has changed in 60 years?

You really think the JW are unique in their desire for no blood? there are a couple of other fringe groups as well that think that way - secondly - there are countless other reasons to perfect surgery techniques that are less intrusive…

IOW - you’re a special kind of stupid, aren’t you?

Not likeing movies is fine - as has been pointed out to you multiple times in the past - the rants you go on show that you are ‘more than a little unstable’, especially given the fact that quite often you haven’t even seen the work in question or enough of it to even understand.

You have trouble distinguishing ‘your reality’ from the world around you - this is the sign of an unstable mind.
IOW - you’re a special kind of stupid, aren’t you?

Do you like Huey Lewis & The News? Their early work was a little too ‘new-wave’ for my taste, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own - both commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He’s been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour. In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is ‘Hip To Be Square’, a song so catchy most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics - but they should! Because it’s not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it’s also a personal statement about the band itself!

You think someone is going to sue him because he thinks your religious leaders are evil?

Oh wow…you better watch out–the paranoids are gonna get you…
A movie is right behind me? Last time I looked, they didn’t go anywhere…

Are you asking that because you think I forgot the first time you asked it?

“You don’t think the medical knowledge…” Isn 't that what I asked you? I don’t assume something like that. You tell **me–**and with documentation!

“You really think the JW are unique…” OK, So they aren’t? So what? I’ll accept the largesse…
With the exception of Back to the Future, I did watch all the movies I mentioned from start to finish. So I feel justified in contradicting you about my rants that allegedly show me to be “unstable”; you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Unstable mind? What are your psychiatric credentials?

/win

It doesn’t take credentials to recognize an unstable individual.

your rants are my cite.

As for the rest - go do your own fucking research - that was talked about a page ago - you said you liked to research - go - do it. Citing a 60 year old report (one sentence of it) does not reseach make.

I see your Back to the Future, and raise you Scooby-Doo.

All right…I can’t blame this on you, Simster, but all the same as time passes I wonder more and more about ulterior motives, from petty to gross; usually ‘pressing a button’ causing nothing more than pure disdain on my part.

“Your rants are my cite”…I don’t follow you–does that mean any criticism is a manifestation of a mental aberration? Or are movies held in such high esteem by the populace these days that one snarl is to be interpreted as a function of mental illness?
I am only too happy to do my own research. Thank you, Oscar Wilde. I’ll bet anything, though, that blood and its components haven’t changed critically in sixty-one years.

I probably never went into any detail about this, but I am not a rock fan. At my age, I probably could have had kids who would go for Huey Lewis and the News (Of course, I never had children.) I went to high school in the Sixties and I didn’t care much for the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and such; I never went to dances.

Do you think that maybe (just maybe) our scientific and medical knowledge about blood has changed over 60 years?

Because that’s what is being referred to.

ETA: I was going to say “you’re really not that dim, are you?”, but then I read some of your early comments, so the point is moot.

Thanks!!!

Just out of curiosity, dm, do you think anyone reading this thread has a higher opinion of JWs after reading it?

The only movement possible is up.

You keep looking for ‘ulterior’ motives - what you should be looking at is why you get the responses you do - some people definitely like pushing other peoples buttons - that you have so many to push only adds to the ‘fun’ for them.

as for the <bolded> section (bolded by me) - subjective criticism of movies is not a sign of mental illness - your posts and the contents thereof - are uniquely a sign of your mental issues - whether they be of paranoia (looking for ulterior motives that are about pushing your buttons) or rampant stupidity (bloodgate, etc) or simply the fact that you cant put together a coherent argument on any given topic. You near constant threats (i’ll sue you for libel, I should punch you in the nose, throw you off a boat) and denial of facts in response to your positions (I asked if medical knowledge about blood has changed in 60 years, you post that blood hasn’t) are all your doing.

I’ve probably already said more than you can comprehend - so I’ll just repost the obvious - even outside of your diagnosed mental health issues -

You’re a special kind of stupid, aren’t you?

And yet, he keeps posting so anything is possible…

We can add legal matters to the long list of things you clearly know nothing about.

:Sigh: This has already been asked and answered–answered in that I assured Simster that I would do research on it–and I shall.

I fold.
