Despite the ample details in the newspaper articles, I am still suspicious that this may be a hoax. Variants of the “woman stuck to a toilet seat” story have appeared in the past as if they were real news stories. Usually the woman is glued down. [/QUOTE] I remember reading a French fable (from a book of stories that were basically the French “Decameron”) about a woman being stuck in an outhouse. I suppose the basic principle of being stuck to a toilet is just as funny today as back in the 15th or 16th century. ---

Or months at a time. Or years at a time. ---

[/QUOTE] You know, sometimes it´s necessary, even if you love them very very much, to grab some people by the lapels and shake them up until some hint of sense sips into them. If my girlfriend sat on the toilet for just one day with no intentions of leaving in the foreseeable future I´d drag her out kicking and screaming and see the way to prevent that from ever happening again. People are perfectly capable of hurting themselves by their own actions, anyone who claims to love them would do their utmost to protect them from serious damage whatever direction it comes from. ---
