Hehe let me share a similar story. In college I was working in foodservice (I may have told this before but I can’t remember) and the lady I worked with kept talking about this girl and the ‘special sort of sweetness’ that she had. For the longest time I thought she was trying to set me up with her daughter. Then I found out that she has a SON! And he works there! And he was hitting on my GF! (Well she wasn’t my GF when he hit on her). It took 2 years to figure out that she was talking about my (she’s now my ex) GF! It makes my head hurt to think about it now. And angry very very angry (relationship ended badly) ---

I’m sorry **CRorex** , but could you diagram that for us? Your co-worker’s son was your co-worker and he was hitting on your GF, but she wasn’t your GF, and your co-worker was talking about your GF but you thought it was her daughter but it wasn’t but she wasn’t your GF yet or she used to be but wasn’t then or FUCK it’s so confusing please please straighten it out or I won’t be able to sleep ---

My dear departed Mother did this to me at least twice that I know of and probably a jillion that I never heard about. The two girls that expressed an interest in meeting me turned out to be nice, attractive, interesting people. Even though nothing romantic transpired, I gained two friends I might not have otherwise had. YMMV. ---
