[/QUOTE] When the smoking ban for public buildings was brought in, it was also banned on all railway premises. Basically, it was going to be a nightmare to determine what was a ‘building’ and what wasn’t, when dealing with platform shelters etc., and this was the only straightforward option. ---

It’s not legal everywhere. There are places designated by law as non-smoking areas and one can be fined for smoking in such places. ---

The best way to deal with over limit shoppers is to remove items they will need to come back to get later. They’ll leave without multiple items that you have hidden the next lane over. It’s very easy, because you can bet they are yakking on a cellphone, and not paying attention. ---
