They’re called “halter tops,” but in my experience they do the opposite of “halting.” Anyone over the age of twelve who wears one in public should be beaned in the head with a melon. ---

Well, that’s exactly why -as Cajun Man said- “we don’t want to get into the business of deciding what’s tasteful erotica and what’s truly over the top”. To avoid discussion on what constitutes porn, and what is erotica, and where the line between the two is - we’d rather not have it at all. I’m sure those interested in purchasing liquid latex outfits will be able to find a merchant that can accomodate their needs. Hell, if I’m not mistaken, there’s about 25 offering their services in my hotmail Bulk folder. ---

Halter tops… fun fun. I can’t wear them at all. They are made for women with _ahem_ smaller attributes. Though if a bigger busted woman wants to wear them fine with her, but I’d feel naked wearing one of those. [sub]This coming from a woman who _has_ wandered around in public in a bra. But what he said was that we don’t allow porn sites, which pretty clearly implied that he thought it was one [I wouldn’t even say it qualified as erotica, actually]. I just didn’t want someone thinking that I had posted a porn site, and since the link was no longer there, people might have assumed that. ---

I wondered for years where women purchased such things but I stumbled into a shop at the local mall that sold bustiers and halter tops and all sorts of exotic tops for all sized women. Also micro miniskirts and hip hugger pants from XXS to XXXL. Hoochie clothes for every woman, no matter what shape or size. America is truly the land of equal opportunity. ---

Lady Chance used to be famous for walking around in a halter top or bra among our pals. Several times at the HFStival (a local massive music fest) she’d get too hot and take off her shirt to cool off. ---

Why? Well at the time my friends and I went to the local lake (they have some in Calgary and people who live in the area can bring in guests). We borrowed a rowboat but there was 5 of us and only 3 could fit in. So 2 had to swim out to the island in the middle. None of us had brought swimsuits or towels with us so all of us jumped in with our clothes on. Except all us girls took off our tops, leaving only our bras and shorts/pants on. I had gotten a ride to the middle of the lake, but I swam back. I just didn’t bother to put my top back on until we were almost back to the city streets because I didn’t want it all soaked and stretched out funny. And there was a bunch of people at the lake as well. That was about 5 years ago.
