In addition to slash, look for ‘yaoi’. I think the guy romance stuff can be really good and very hot. PJ Nunn does some of the prettiest and most explicit art out there at Bishonenworks (if you like to look!). The phenomena is huge on the net and getting bigger with the increase of Japanese anime to fuel the fics. Not that it is limited to anime, but I would avoid the majority of ‘crossovers’ (N’Sync and Next Generation crossover? Ewwwwwwww!) Here is the real puzzler to me: Why do older women get so heavily into this? For myself, I don’t think I would have found it titillating at 20, but at 40 it works! I have discussed this with others and there seems to be no consensus and no real explaination. Anyone? ---

I find guy-on-guy hot, but not actual porn because penises are ugly. Girl/girl is hot too as long as the girls aren’t porny-looking (over-tanned, huge fake boobs, whatever). Het, not so much. ---

I also think that until recently it was not as “OK”, if you know what I mean. I mea lots of men are turned on by two girls, just as lots aren’t - why shouldn’t women be the same way? Definitely hot. Probably my favorite kind of porn. I checked out the Folsom Street Fair for the first time this year, and saw more than my fair share of guy on guy action. God, yes. And, since I’m on several slash list and attend conventions, I can safely say I know hundreds of other women who feel the same way about male/male action. I’m 40, and I’ve been writing homoerotic fanfiction since I was 16, although I didn’t learn that other women did this until I was about 20. There’s certainly nothing wrong with thinking it’s hot, but I don’t think it is. It’s actually totally unsexy to me, though. I’m a completely straight female and I think girl on girl action is super hot. Guy on guy action is just kind of icky to me. Personal preference of course. Nothin wrong with a little freakiness 😉 ---

Straight female I’m 40 mumblemumble now but my first exposure to gays was in my early 20’s (late bloomer, I know). I found m/m sex hot then and still do. Women don’t do so much for me. The few times they’ve turned up in my dreams they did… And vanilla porn does nothing for me. ---
