Grab it by the bottom and pull it over my head. Yes, it turns the shirt inside out, but that’s the better way to wash them. The inside gets cleaner, and the outside’s colors fade less. ---

If it’s a baggier shit, I tuck my arms inside and push it up over my head. If it’s a more slim fitted one though, I’ll just tuck one arm inside (sometimes fighting the fabric, admittedly), and push the shirt up over my head and opposite shoulder. I was thinking for a sec that I tug it off inside out, but I actually don’t recall doing that at all in recent history. ---

I was thinking that if there was a companion thread, it would be “how do you take your bra off without taking off your shirt” but on second thought there probably isn’t a lot of variation there. ---

Any time I try the “pull from the bottom, all the way out from the head, then pull out the arms” technique I’ve ended up with two waded messes: the shirt, pullover or dress, and me. ---

Would I come across as vain if I said that I have several of my “A-List” T-shirts professionally cleaned? Of course I have a supply of casual/knock-around T-shirts that I just throw in the wash, too. ---

I have a big head (really!) and I wear glasses. Hands on the neck, a little bit in front (so about under the ears, approximately), pull the neck open a bit so I don’t get the shirt caught on my glasses and pull up. If I’m not wearing my glasses, then i pull the bottom part of my shirt above my breasts and then pull it off by the back of the neck. ---

A, B, or C depending on the t-shirt in question: how big it is? how dirty or clean? is it a nice t-shirt? do I care if it gets stretched out? ---

I cross my arms over my front, and grab the sides of my shirt, one with each hand. Then I pull up and over. My shirt ends up inside out. I have no idea why I do it this way. ---

I pull it at the bottom up to armpit level, pull in my arms, then push it up over my head. If it’s a graphic tee, I turn it inside-out before tossing it in the hamper. ---

It totally depends on the shirt and the dirt. But, as I dislike taking the time to turn it back to right-side out, I often pull my arms in from the sleeves than reach to the outside from underneath and pull it up by the neckline. That way, the shirt stays right side out for washing. Doing it this way works well for the long-sleeve tees I often wear. ---

It’s so automatic that I don’t know how I do it, but I probably pull them over my head with one hand, from the bottom, cross-body, so shirts always come off half inside-out, with one sleeve inside. ---

It depends on the fit of the shirt. I have a way-too-big-for-me white unisex pajama shirt (I think it’s technically a men’s undershirt) that I do the “take arms out, pull up” method. I don’t really wear t-shirts but most of my tunic shirts and the few dresses I have and such are too fitted in the ribcage/shoulder area to really pull that off without ending up stuck in a shirt desperately trying to figure out how to escape, so I do the “cross arms, pull inside-out” method. Admittedly, since 98% of the clothes I wear require the inside out method, I do occasionally pull the unisex ones off that way out of habit. ---

Cross my arms over, grab the shirt by the armpits and pull upwards; then catch it by the hem to fully remove. Doing it this way means it’s always right side out and I can take it off and fold it in one move, if I plan to wear it again. Apparently I’m the only one who does it like this? I just demonstrated it to Boy From Mars who agreed I’m an outlier.
