Is it common for women to get wet in an ordinary day while _not_ sexually aroused. Enough to leave marks on there panties? ---

(giggle) depends on what you mean by wet. Since vaginal wetness is basicallly sweat (on over drive during arousal) then yeah, during a summer day (or maybe even a winter one), panties naturally get wet. ---

Nope, I mean lubrication secreting from the vagina onto the panties. Nothing to do with actual sweat. ---

When you say lubrication, you don’t mean lube that you can buy in a tube? You mean the natural juices from the vagina that normally a woman would secrete during sex? ---

I think that is usually from sexual arousal, or some kind of infection. I just called a couple of girls, and when they are wet, it is almost always (but not always) for the same reason I guy gets hard. But in a way it is like sweat because women can lose water that way. Tell whoever it is to stay hydrated! ---

Spontaneous vaginal lubrication in the absence of sexual arousal is normal in women, just as spontaneous erections without arousal are normal in men. Fluid loss via this mechanism is trivial. QtM, MD ---

Yes its normal, women get “wet” when they are sexually arroused and during ovulation a woman secretes a lot of “egg white” consitency cervical mucus. ---

Arrgh… capybara lemme explain: I thought Lamia was suggesting that the girls wear panty liners only for absorbing wetness when they are not aroused. It sounded like he was revealing the mystery of why girls actually wear those things. I am aware that girls leak various juices and liquids occasionaly. I do live with a lady, I have experience of these things from a guys perspective. Anyway, I hope that is a little clearer - sorry my whoosh remark did sound ignorant in hindsight. 🙂 ---

most women do secrete vaginal fluid during the day. this is normal. what is not normal is secreting vaginal fluid because of something like an yeast infection. there you go.
