Missionary is delightful - not number one, but number two for sure. I enjoy the, um, dirty talk during the festivities. Having to yell over your shoulder (as in doggie style) makes it a lot less like whispering sweet nothings and a lot more like yelling swears at your partner, ya know? ---

I don’t have a favorite postion. I like variety and experimenting. Missionary is nice when you place your legs and hips in different positions that help you get stimulation to the clitoris while contracting your pelvic muscles tighly and letting go…which feels good for your partner and you. And, let’s not forget “toys” while in the missionary position 😃 Also, anal sex with hips raised, legs up, while on your back is quite…nice. The tissue that becomes the penis in the man becomes the clitoris in the woman: the tissue that becomes the scrotum in a man becomes the labia/outer vagina in a woman. Being penetrated, on its own, is probably roughly the same as having your balls played with: something that can be quite pleasurable, but not something that’s going to ring the bell, so to speak, and something that can actually be more frustrating than pleasurable when all is said and done. Now, in the same way it’s possible to stimulate the penis kind of from behind when you play with your balls, it’s possible to stimulate the clitoris through penetration, if the angles are right. The “right” angle will vary from woman to woman and partner to partner. If the angles are not right and there’s no other stimulation occurring, orgasm will not generally happen. It might feel “nice”, but it won’t feel like sex-nice, it will be more like back-rub nice. TL;DR: the vagina is not an inside-out penis, and the sensation of being penetrated is not the same as the sensation of having your erection stimulated. ---

I’m a guy, but the woman I’m presently having sexual relations with orgasms most consistently in a missionary position, no stimulation apart from PIV (well, pelvic grinding occurs) needed. Can’t tell how happy I am about this, since MP is my favorite position, too, all things considered. ---

My wife’s favorite position is missionary because it allows us to make out during the act. Not the entire time, but when the mood strikes. This means that we usually don’t have missionary sex in the morning, because we haven’t brushed our teeth yet. Regardless, these days whatever position we’re in, she has to use her fingers on her clit to achieve orgasm. The older she’s gotten, the less able she is to cum without direct clit stimulation either from oral, my hands, her hands, or a toy. But if we’ve broken out the toys, her favorite position is doggy. PIV doesn’t really do anything for me, so it really doesn’t matter what position we’re in. All of the guys I’ve been with do prefer missionary to finish though.
