I don’t know if you were looking for support, or just opinions. I am a 45 year old lady, and I personally wouldn’t want to be the one to ask. It wouldn’t be “weird”. I’m just old fashioned I guess. I have the feeling, even if he said yes, and married me that “well yeah, but _I_ had to ask him”. I would feel as if it “didn’t _really_ count”. Sort of an “if the man REAAAALLY loves her, he’ll propose”. That otherwise, one would always the sneaking feeling that he had to be “talked into it”. I don’t know. But that’s just me, old lady with old-fashioned wishes. 😃 ---
