It wasn’t too long ago that oral sex was considered perversion. I could see how someone raised in a strict, consevative household might have problems with it. ---

These sorts of statements always interest me. I cannot imagine anyone being “raised” to have any opinion at all of oral sex. It’s not like it’s something that mothers teach their daughters along with sewing, cooking, and correct maxi-pad usage. No, I can unequivocally say that “suck” and “dick” never were uttered by my mother in my direction at any time I was being raised. Neither for nor against, I might add. ---

If a girl is taught that sex is something to be endured in order to have children, and sex is _only_ for the marriage bed, oral sex doesn’t have to be mentioned to be considered perverse. I remember reading somewhere about a young girl who showed her mother a scene in a book involving oral sex. The girl asked if people did that in real life. The mother said, yes, people who love each other did that. The girl then told her grandmother what her mother had told her. After that, the grandmother would only serve meals to her daughter and the daughter’s husband with disposeable plastic untensils. It was supposed to be a true story. I could see it happening, knowing some of the people I do. ---

I have only ever refused oral sex if I felt like the guy was expecting it while being completely unwilling to return the favor. I will give happily and often, as long as I’m in a reciprocal situation. And it doesn’t have to be a 1:1 all the time, but if you think I’m going to make a habit of sucking you off and quietly leaving (or falling asleep), you’ve got another thing coming. ---

At least that seems to be the case with a number of marriages. maybe it’s sex in general once the kids arrive.
