It’s hard for me to pin down generalities, but I can sure mention some specific things that have completely turned me off: - in a discussion, he dismissed evolution as being “just a theory”. I guess I get turned off by creationism and blatant stupidity. - another guy - a teacher, like me - complained endlessly about how lazy and stupid his kids were. Hey, I have rough days in the classroom too, but when I talk about my kids to new people, I _always_ have something good to say about them. So call me turned off by negativity and burn-out. - same guy carried on for half an hour about his evil ex-wife and at one point even asked me if he should pay her back the money she said he owed her for medical expenses for the kids. Yeah, I’m turned off by excess baggage, an inability to remove TMI topics from a first date, and unbelievable pettiness over money the kids need for braces. - driving like an asshole, being rude to waitstaff or spending the entire date angry at something is another. - acting surprised that I can hold up my end of a conversation on computers, software, action movies, or literature. - mentioning casual drug use and then acting like I’m sort uptight squick if I don’t immediately ask for some too. - launching a “monogamy is evil” campaign at the dinner table. - making comments about “fat ass chicks” and expecting me not to get upset. - making comments about “goddamn fags” and expecting me to nod my head in agreement. Just call the story of my life _phouka and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad dates_. ---

What’s up with all this badmouthing of unibrows? Do your prejudices know no bounds?! I bet you hate nipple hair too! Well, I shave my nipple hair a couple times a week, but it grows really fast! And do you know how impractical it is to shave that narrow space between one eyebrow and the other eyebrow? _sobs uncontrollably and runs away_ ---

The question of what turns off or on a woman is really short sighted. The simple fact is what one woman finds unattractive, I can show you a different woman that would find that particular attribute attractive. And believe it or not, even things like BO and smelly feet. There are some really strange people in the world. It’s like people that throw out “facts”.
