Martian Manhunter? I thought everyone had forgotten about him! I mean, it’s been about a century since I read any non-Vertigo DC Comics, but I always had a soft-spot for him, I guess because nobody else did.

On that note, from the last volume of the Sandman:

**Clark Kent:** The [dream] I hate is where I’m just an actor on a strange television version of my life. Have you ever had that dream?  
**Batman:** Doesn’t everyone?  
**Martian Manhunter:** I don’t.
