I wonder how @Mr.Blue_Sky feels about Leonardo DiCaprio now?

Lots of involved, nuanced ideas in Simmons’ books. Even fit into three movies, it’d have to be streamlined, pared down to avoid lengthy explanations, and at least somewhat “dumbed down”. I’m skeptical that it’ll survive the process without the Shrike turning into a slasher monster and Hawking Mats turning into Flying Carpets.

But maybe they can pull it off. we’ll see.

It’d be nice if they could retain the different “feels” and genres of each of the Canterbury-tale-like stories, rather than glomming them all together in the same style.
