# Word 2013 keeps crashing

But only when I try to open up one particular file, a word document that was created from a pdf. Whenever I click on this in my documents section the computer instantly starts “not responding” and I must close the program. I know that this is very limited information, but this is driving me crazy.

It sounds like that file is corrupt. I’d recommend recreating the document, either by converting it from PDF again or just retyping it.

I say ‘kind of’ because I still can’t open files created around early-April.
