# Word play

This one’s pretty easy, but I’ve been amusing myself with it for my last two commutes.

What do the following words have in common?

BARRE  
CAME  
DUE  
GROW  
HAZE  
PEAR  
YOKE

If you want to guess, spoiler-box it so latecomers can play along – or go ahead and add a few items to the list.

If you add an ‘L’ to the end of each word, you get a new word.

A few others:

COO

PEE

TEA
