Someone in #sd last night mentioned a woman that was supposed to have been on one of the WTC flights, but was for one reason or another who was on the one AA flight yesterday. What an amazing pile of bad luck. ---

You know what else is sad? 250 or so other people died on that flight too. ---

Sad, but not surprising. Given the massive number of people that survived the attacks (something like 30,000, wasn’t it?) you probably could select 100 people at random from NY and get one or two. These people will be forevermore marked as WTC attack survivors. In the coming year or so, I suspect there will be several events where someone who survived the attack died from _X_
