After that failed it took a while to see SUGAR, which I was sure was right. After three I was at a loss: the answer fit either S\_UA\_ or S\_\_AU, and I didn’t see anything for either. For whatever reason, I just could not see Q as a consonant that pairs with S. (sh, sn, sw, occasionally sv…sq?!) ---

Wordle 296 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟨⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 TRACE NAILS ASSAY SQUAD When I was done I checked to see possible words after my first two picks. There are only two words that it could be. And all I had was two letters and places they couldn’t be. One word has two double letters and the other is a Q word. I found ASSAY after a long time of thinking.
