I then had to think long and hard what letter would go in front of the ST. Thankfully, it finally came to me, so I’m happy with a β€œSplendid” 4. ---

But on the other hand it _did_ confirm that the word did NOT end in β€œIST”. Since the β€œI” had to be in first or second position, that eliminated some guesses I’d otherwise have made. ---
