This one had me buffaloed for quite awhile. Wordle 344 5/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨⬜🟨🟨⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 TRANS LOUIE ALOUD CAMPY BAYOU ALOUD and CAMPY were guesses because I didn’t know where to go after my standard opener. From there I realized that none of my yellows could be the first letter, and from there, after some thinking, realized that the only way they could be arranged in the last three was β€œYOU”, and that’s when the right answer came to me. ---

After my 2nd guess I was struggling to find any words at all to try and after my 3rd I resorted to looking stuff up. I imagine depending on where you live the solution may come more readily to mind than it did for me. ---

My first 6 since ZESTY awhile back, and I’ve got no one but myself to blame. After my standard starting word, SLANT, I decided to tweak things and do PERCH as my second word rather than CHORE which had been my standard. My normal third word, if I’m still lost, would be DUMPY, and if I’d gone the SLANT-CHORE-DUMPY route, I’d have known after 3 words (and got the answer in 4) what it wound up taking me 5 to learn (and barely avoiding the loss). Anyhow: SLANT PERCH MOWED QUICK FOGEY BAYOU Sheesh. ---

The O was in three wrong spots, the B in two; I just couldn’t get those damn letters where they needed to be! OU at the end of a word is not an intuitive placement. Really tough one for me today, but a good mental workout. ---
