Wordle 373 5/6 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟨🟨🟨⬛🟨 🟨🟨⬛🟨🟨 ⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 CLANS TROPE OTHER METRO RETRO This would have been a way more satisfying progression if the answer were metro. Starting with all black and then four yellows, I felt good about ‘other’ for the win. When that came back with another four yellows it got interesting. Finally seeing metro I thought ‘Now this was a good wordle.’ Having to burn another guess after metro felt like I just had a solid drive and approach but then 3-putted the green where the second putt was three feet away and I yoinked it. (I don’t play real golf, but I do enjoy it as a video game.) ---

I compared a list of words with date from the internet vs. actual used words. (I only looked at words in the past). Apparently there were two times that they skipped over a word because the word of the previous day was similar. Three of the letters were in the same place.
