#398 plus tax 4/6 SLANT HORSE TRUST TRYST Deviated from my usual second word (CHORE) to verify the expected ST ending. Thought of TRUST after my first word, but decided that if I used it as my second word and was wrong, I’d learn too little and might wind up with a 5 or 6. So I got to the solution in 4 instead of 3. I think it was the right decision, though. ---

I realize now my second guess used the Y in the wrong place, had I noticed that before using it I coulda had TRYST in 2! ---
