I was _this_close to plopping down PRIZE at two, since it was the first word to pop into my head. But then, since there were way too many possible answers and I didn’t want to waste any guesses, I slowed myself down and took a more methodical approach. Which of course led me back to… PRIZE. In four instead of two. Some days I hate this game. ---

Wordle 439 4/6 SLANT CHORE DUMPY FUNGI Another of those β€˜glad to get it in 4, because I couldn’t have gotten it any faster’ rounds. One of those times when what saves you is you don’t have many letters that are still eligible. After three guesses, I knew only 2 letters, but as best as I could tell, there was only one possible solution anyway. ---
