BALKS eliminated many of them, but I was still worried even at six. I started wondering if HULLY, WULLY, and ZULLY were words. This game can mess with your head. But I lived to Wordle another day. ---

Horrible word. IRATE CLOUD LUMPY GULLY I had all the possible ‘ULLY’ words after my second guess after trying lots of other letter orders. I was afraid of that. My third try pretty much confirmed it. Out of the 4 remaining choices, ‘GULLY’ was just a lucky try. Happy with a 4 today. ---

Wordle 440 2/6 ⬜⬜🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 STARE CHARM Same exact play as Lumpy had. In my case, it was ‘looking for common consonant pairs’ to fit that \_ \_ A R \_ pattern that proved to be the, er, you know. Wordle 441 4/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I had a list of about a half-dozen words that were not yet winners, that would fit after guess #2; “JUMPY” eliminated all of them except GULLY and SULLY. Tried them in alphabetical order (which sometimes works and sometimes does not.) ---

Meanwhile, I think that it was the only word possible after my second guess so I tried it even though I “knew” it was wrong. ---

**Wordle 441 4/6** 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 LEAST BROIL DULLY GULLY After my second word with only the L in yellow, and all vowels but U and Y ruled out, I saw the trap. Thankfully two of the words were ruled out, and I had enough guesses left to not fail, so it was a matter of rolling the dice. Happy to get it in 4 with luck on my side this time. ---
