Wordle 448 3/6 S_L_AN_T_ CH_O_RE **LOFTY** After two guesses, the solution didn’t look at all obvious, but it was the only word I could think of that fit. (Other than some plurals like bolts, jolts, and volts, but we know Wardle eschewed plurals.) Was certainly relieved to see it turn green. ---

Like, 20 to 30 minutes, then when that wasn’t it I gave up in disgust and went to sleep. This morning I saw tibia after maybe 5 minutes, so it seems the sleep helped. But still, not good. I suspect today has already been used as an answer, but there was no way I was getting tibia after my first two guesses. ---
