Wordle 477 5/6 First 5 or worse since PARER. Between then and today, I had 11 4’s, 8 3’s, and 3 2’s, easily the hottest hot streak I’ve had since I started playing. A couple/few weeks ago I mentioned that for the first time since very early on I had more 4s than 3s. (Someone fairly called me out for a humble brag.) Including the 3 I just got in today’s puzzle, I now have 10 more 4s than 3s. (102 vs 92.) Yikes. At my zenith I think I was approaching 20 more 3s than 4s. At least well over 10 more; maybe mid teens? The hit on D narrowed it down to HOWDY, DOWDY, and TODDY. Any of those three, if wrong, would have eliminated one of the others, making five my worst possible outcome. So I went with the word I liked most, and howdy, there it was.
