**Wordle 485 4/6** ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟩🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 MANOR BEGIN SKEIN STEIN After my 2nd word, I had four choices I could see (Plein, Stein, Skein, and Elfin), and I went with the smart play going with one of the S words. But then I went with the K instead of the more common T, which _wasn’t_ the smart play, but I just took a gamble. I’m fine with getting it in 4 though. ---

I wanted to try both I and E at two, but after a minute of not thinking of a word with both those vowels ending in T, I moved on. If I’d had a few sips of coffee and gave it some more thought, I would have seen EXIST (for my second two in a row) or HEIST (for a three). Instead, I settled for a pedestrian four, which is fine, but I know I should have done better. ---

Fortunately it locked the U in position two, which pretty strongly implied QU to start. The only vowel left was i so QUI, plus the yellow r made QUIR and boom, easy 4. I feel good about this 4 after yesterday’s embarrassing 6.
