A 3, but boy, was that a startle. Wordle 585 3/6\* πŸŸ¨β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬›πŸŸ© πŸŸ¨β¬›πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ© 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 IRATE ASIDE MAIZE I had it down to MAIME, MAIZE and WAIVE. I figured trying one of the β€˜M’ words would confirm or eliminate one, the other or both, so even though WAIVE would have been a more comfortable pick, I figured I’d have it in 4. Surprise! ---

The first of those three words you mention that you’d narrowed it down to, I don’t think that’s a word. But thinking it was one seems to have helped you get that 3. Whatever works! πŸ˜ƒ ---

LOL, oh ,that’s even funnier, then! For some reason, it looked like a word to me and I didn’t double-check. My spelling is generally quite good, but you’re right – I missed the mark on that one. Ironically, to my advantage! ---

B and F are the 18th and 19th most frequently appearing letters in Wordle solutions so far, so you’re lucky to check either, let alone both, in your first few guesses. And then the double E. So today’s Wordle was a bit more challenging than usual. My second 5 this week, but I don’t really feel that I blew it with either of them. Not all the solutions are going to be easy. ---
