Scordle says there were 55 possibilities left, but only 4 or 5 were real words. I knew doubling up on the C was risky, but I had a strong feeling and went with my gut. It worked!

The hard part today was finding **any** word that would work. ADORE? Nope, O is out. AWARE? Not with that yellow. I went through every last consonant in the second slot, checking them against the available vowels. Finally got to Z at the end of the list. While trying the A in the second slot, I rejected PADRE and FAIRE, though if I hadnβt found AZURE, Iβd have gone with PADRE out of desperation.

Thought I was so clever with zebra. This is one of those cases where checking the previous answers list hurt me. After 2 I immediately thought adore, which would have led to an almost guaranteed 4. But adore has already been an answer, so I started looking elsewhere. And just like that, the benefit of one of my 2s evaporates.
