Lots of 3s today. Cool. I changed from my usual starting words of FLAME SHUNT BRICK PODGY to STERN ALOUD CHIMP. I think Iβll keep those for awhile.

Your new words are a very good set of starting words. My rule of thumb is, if one has a standard first two words, one should try to have the five most common consonants in Wordle solutions (L,N,R,S,T\*) and the three most common Wordle vowels (A,E,O\*) in those words. Your new words check those boxes. And your third word, should you need it, is a good selection of letters as well. Good luck!

From Wheel of Fortune, I remember that R S T L N E were the most common letters and everyone used to pick those, so for the final puzzle they ended up just giving those letters to everyone. I usually try picking words with those.

Yeah, I donβt know how much the Wordle letter distribution is constrained by all words being exactly five letters with certain endings excluded, but one would figure it wouldnβt be drastically different. Anyway, Iβve been keeping stats of all the Wordle solutions so far, just because Iβm that kind of geek. π
