With three yellows right out of the gate I tried to go for a 2. Thatβs not a bad strategy, but replaying a yellow letter in the same position sure is. I still couldβve salvaged a 3, but this 4 feels like my just deserts for that boneheaded mistake.

Some days I analyze every possible letter combination. Today I just put in words that fit, without much contemplation at all, and it worked out fine.
There were about five or six legit words available, so Iβll admit to a bit of luck. Had TAKEN been wrong, I might have been looking at a five, while RAVEN would have guaranteed a four. So Iβm glad I saw TAKEN first.

I saw Taken and almost went with it at 3, but I was thinking of it as a past tense word, so I saved it for last (along with Eaten). Really, itβs a past participle and I forgot that Wordle _does_ use thoseβ¦I looked afterwards and weβve had Given, Woken, Woven. Oh well, a 5 it is for today then.
