Did myself out of a 3 here. There were a limited number of possibilities for the 5th letter, and I went through all the combinations I could think of for the first three letters before my third guess came to mind. And if I’d done the sort of thought process for the double N that I’d done for everything else I could think of, I’d have found the solution and gone with that first. But I just jumped on ‘ninny’ when I saw it because nothing else had turned up.

I forgot to post yesterday. It was a 3 with my guesses being:

IRATE

BACON

I picked BACON out of 7 other possibles, so a lot of luck involved in this one.

Then there was today.

After my second try, I pretty immediately figured out the double N, had it down to BUNNY and FUNNY. Lost the coin toss. WordleBot advised that there were actually 3 words to choose from, as it considers PUNNY a legitimate choice, too. Stupid bot.
